Fourteen taxa (varieties)of \%Eriocaulon\% from Asia are discussed. This discussion is based on a worldwide examination of species of \%Eriocaulon.\% Tow new species, \%E. zollingerianoides\% and \%E. liberisepalum\%, are validated here. The descriptions of \%E. zollingerianum\% Krnicke and \%E. sphagnicolum\% Ohwi are corrected. Four synonymy are validated here as well.
