Catalytic Elimination of Ozone in Environmental Air

摘要 在涂有γ Al2 O3 的蜂窝陶瓷上担载贵金属 ,以过渡金属氧化物作助剂 ,通过改变助剂含量及焙烧温度 ,寻找较佳的催化剂组成和制备条件 ,对活性较好的nM/MnO2 /γ Al2 O3-蜂窝陶瓷和MnO2 Catalytic elimination of ozone is of practical significance because ozone is a toxic substance commonly found or generated in human environments(e.g.aircraft cabins , office with photocopiers , laser printers ,sterilizers). The catalysts contained noble metal on γ Al 2O 3 coated monolith with transition metal oxides as the promoters are investigated.The better composition and preparation conditions of the catalysts are estimated in a certain promoter loading, in which nM/37.5%MnO 2 Al 2O 3/monolith calcinated at 400~500 ℃ is the best one. Manganese oxide supported on activated charcoal with incipient wetness impregnation shows also better catalytic activity for ozone decomposition.
