The paper is to indicate that vital energy(Qi), blood (Xue) and essence (Jing) are the basic factors constituting the circulation system of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and there exsits a relative dynamic balance among the three factors which keep interdependant, intertransformation on a certain fixed level in physiological state; that the balance will be broken, being acted by varies of pathogenic factors in pathological state, and the process of reconstituting the balance can be regarded as the progress of diseases, and during the progress a series of pathological resultants can be formed, which will be mingled, interacted to induce machanisms of diseases more complicated, more changeful. The paper is also to apply the theory of relative dynamic balance among Vital energy, Blood, Essence to demonstrate pathogenic machanisms of diabetics and hypertension tentatively.
