Scale Upgrade During the Period of Transition ——The Main Countermeasure for Chinese Automobile Industry's Entry into the WTO

在根据马克西—西尔伯斯曲线分析汽车工业规模经济特点的基础上 ,指出了我国汽车工业规模结构中存在的两大问题及其原因。随着我国加入WTO进程的逐步完成 ,作者认为加快我国汽车工业的规模升级已迫在眉睫 。

An analysis is given to economies of scale, the characteristic of automobile industry. On that basis, this paper points out two main problems existing in the scale structure of Chinese automobile industry. With the approaching of our entry into the WTO, the author holds that it is extremely necessary for our automobile industry to upgrade its scale. The author also emphasizes that the completion of restructure during the period of transition should be regarded as the main way of achieving scale upgrade of our automobile industry.
