摘要
本文从货币文字■、■、■的音读入手,通过对甲骨文辞例的检讨,并结合古器物形制,释得前揭三字与■、■字均为钲的象形字;并进而考得■所记录的国族名就是后世所谓的狄族;■、■、■为“呈”的古字;释得■当隶作■,读为“政”,训为控制;■为《说文》“■”字或体; 字像人双手持一“钲”形农具芟草状,确为“芟”字异体,只是该字所从的 不能视作“殳”字。
By studying the pronunciation of the currency character “? 觥保蔼 霆!盿nd “? 霆!保瑀eferring to the oracle inscription lexicgraphical works and the documents concerning system of shapes on ancient utensils, the author deduced that the three mentioned char acters and “? 霆!盿nd “? 霆!盿re the varieties of pictographic character“Zheng”.Furthermore,the name of the state recorded with “? 觥眞 as Dizu;“? 霆!保蔼 霆!盿nd “? 霆!眞as ancient Chinese character “Cheng”,“? 霆!眞as “? 霆!眕ronounced“Zheng”meaning “control”,“? 觥眞as “? 觥眎n explanations of Chinese Character;“ ” looked like a pair of hands holding the dead stock to weed. So it should be the cariet y of “芟”. But you couldn't take “ ” as “殳”.
