This paper describes the effects of the rare earth aided dyeing. From the perspective of the interaction of the rare earth with the dyes, fibers, it discusses the mechanism of rare earth aided dyeing. It points out that rare earth ions tend to increase colored place by adhering and permeating through the fiber's surface. It also points out that some complexion of the dyes with the rare earth contributes to the dyeing process.
