Objective To investigate the relationship between lasting low concentration of occupational exposure to CS 2 and vascular damage in retina fundus oculi. Methods The concentrations of CS 2 were determined in fixed workplaces on schedule time.Fundus oculi fluorescein angiography was conducted in the exposure and control groups. Results The samples beyond MAC(10 mg/m 3) were 17.8%(maximum 32.6%) on average.40% of the subjects exposed to CS 2 more than 10 years in the condition showed fundus oculi retinopathy in exposure group, while none did in control group( P <0.05). Conclusion The damage of retinal vascular induced by low concentration exposure to CS 2 for a long time showed the process of vascular circuity, attenuating, filling delay, vascular leakage, tiny haemangioma, and a dose effect relationship existed.
