This article summarizes the research advance of acupuncture in the treatment of gastroduodenal ulcer in the past 10 years.The chief acupuncture treatments consist of body acupuncture,moxibustion,thread implantation,acupoint injection,ear acupuncture and acupoint application.Acupuncture may balance the injuring factors and protective factors in the local gastroduodenal mucosa.
