Because of failure in explaining the developing countries' situations and in leading to the rich, the development economics has been furiously criticized and would fall apart in the 1970s. Since the 1980s, the analysis method of new institutional economics has caught many economists' eyes. It gives the developmental economics a new angle and promising prospect.
