Fast Decoding of Modified Huffman Code and Modified Reference Address Code and Its Realization

改进的霍夫曼码 (MHC)及改进的相对地址码(MREAD Code)是三类传真机信源编码的标准。本文讨论一种新的解码方案 ,即将码表重新分类组合 ,不需传统解码方法的译码树而在计算机上实现快速解码 ,显示在计算机上。结合已经做好的传真信息接收卡 ,可以监测电话线路上收、发的传真。

Modified Huffman Code (MHC) and Modified Reference Address Code (MRC) are Standards of Generation 3 Fax Information Source Coding.This paper introduces a new method of decoding MHC and MRC by re-classifying the code tables.Displaying the decoded fax information on the computer screen,this method works faster than traditional ones without any cecode tree of the latter.Combined with a fax receiving card,it can be used to supervise faxes sent of rceived on the telephone line.
