An investigation was made into the effect of auxiliary agent LAB on dye uptake percent, colour fastness and homochromatic effects in one-bath dyeing of wool / polyester fabric with disperse dyes. Experiments proved that it had such advantages as cost saving, good wet fastness, etc. over the conventional dyeing method. Further research is worthy for this new dyeing process for wool/ polyester fabric.
