“科技与社会”:哲学抑或其他

Science,Technology and Society":Philosophy of Else

尽管“科技与社会”早已成为科技哲学中一个相当活跃的研究领域 ,然而 ,关于它的学科性质迄今依然未见辨明。本文认为 ,“科技与社会”既与科学社会学迥然相异 ,也与STS界限分明。“科技与社会”的学科定位当是哲学性质的。主要理由有三 :(1)“科技与社会”是科学观的主要组成部分 ;(2 )保持“科技与社会”特点的需要 ;(3)增加“科技与社会”理论深度的需要。

Though'Science,Technology and Society'has become one of the rather active research fields in Philosophy of Science and Technology,thenature of this subject has not been clear till now.The author argues that Science,Technology and Society is totally different from Scientific Sociology and the so called'STS'.The nature of Science,Technology and Society should be philosophic.The main reasons are as follows:(1)Science,Technology and Society is a main component of science view.(2)The requirement to maintain the characteristics of Science,Technology and Society.(3)The requirement to develop the research of Science,Technology and Society.
