Primary results of surgical correction of scoliosis using Halm-Zielke instruments

目的 应用Halm Zielke双棒系统前路手术矫正脊柱侧凸。方法 1999年 6月～ 2 0 0 0年 11月应用Halm Zielke系统治疗胸腰段和腰段特发性脊柱侧凸 10例 ,皆为女性 ,年龄 12 .5～ 18.4岁 ,平均 15 .7岁 ,全部病例均获随访。结果 术前侧凸Cobb’s角平均 5 7.1°,术后 14 .2° ,矫正率为75 .1%。旋转畸形 (Nash Moe法 )术前平均 2 .3° ,术后 0 .6° ,平均矫正 1.7°。除 1例轻度泌尿道感染外 ,无脊髓神经等其他并发症。结论 前路Halm Zielke手术矫正脊柱侧凸疗效确切 ,植入物稳定性好 ,并发症少 。

Objective To evaluate the results of anterior route to correct of scoliosis using Halm Zielke instruments.Methods Ten cases with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis were corrected by Halm Zielke instruments from June 1999 to Nov. 2000. All patients were female aging from 12.5 to 18.4 years (mean 15.7 yrs).Results The Cobb's angle was averaged from 57.1° to 14.2° with a corrective rate of 75.1% postoperatively. The rotation of apical vertebrae (Nash Moe) was improved from 2.3° to 0.6° (mean 1.7° ). There were no perioperative complications except one case with a mild urinary infection. All of them were followed up. Conclusion The advantages of anterior route using Halm Zielke instruments are satisfactory stability,low postoperative complications and unnecessary postoperative bracing
