The literature has made a wide explanation to the reinforcement and some problems of the ordinary steel structure.This article makes the more concretely explanation and complementarity to some problems about the practical conditions of the utility boiler frame,and supplies the reference to the relative persons of boiler manufacturer and power station.As for the calculation,the old allowable stress design method and the more simple formula are adopted,not the present limit condition calculation method and its complicated formula stated in the 《Steel Structure Design Code》.The allowable stress value has a safety coefficient about 1.5 times or more to the minimum yield point of the material.
