Utilizing the Advantages of Agricultural Resources and Establishing Leading Industries with Local Characteristics

本文比较全面地论述和分析了河西农业生产的现状、地位、农业资源优势及存在问题，提出了今后应重点发展的制种、优质小麦、小杂粮、西菜东调、饲草、酿造葡萄、特色果品、花卉、特色中药材共９大支柱产业和保障措施，对河西今后农业生产的发展，具有较强的指导作用。

This paper gives an over-all statement and anal ysis about the current situation and position of the agricultural production in Hexi Corridor. The advantages and existing problems of agricultural resources ar e also discussed. It is suggested that 9 leading industries should be given the priority for development. They include seed production, high-quality wheat, coa rse cereal crops, bringing the non-polluted vegetables from western to eastern areas, wine-making grapes, local fruits, flowers, and local Chinese medicine. R elated safeguarding measures are also put forward. This paper might play strong guiding role for the future agricultural development in Hexi Corridor.
