This paper presents a method to connect the user's interrupt service routine (ISR) to its according interrupt vector by revising the operating system's interrupt distributing table, and an approach through which the application and the ISR can access each other by modifying the subroutines of the Serial port device drivers. And then the real time interrupt serial communication under Windows NT can be accomplished without disintegrating the security mechanism of the operating system.
