Anti-inflammatory actions of pig adrenocortical extract

目的 :研究肾上腺皮质提取物的抗炎作用及其对免疫方面的影响。方法 :应用鼠耳肿胀、角叉菜胶足肿胀、佐剂性关节炎模型观察该提取物的抗炎作用以及对鼠免疫器官脾、胸腺的影响。结果 :该提取物能抑制耳肿胀、足肿胀和佐剂性关节炎大鼠继发性足肿胀。结论 :肾上腺皮质提取物具有抗炎作用 ,作用强度与强地松相似 ,同时还具有一定的免疫抑制作用 。

Object: To study the anti inflammation actions of adrenocortical extract and the effects on the immune functions.Methods:We observed the anti inflammation actions and the effects of the extract on the immune organs(spleen and thymus)of rats by three kinds of inflammatory models Ear swelling model induced by xylene, Palm swelling model induced by carrageenin and adjuvant arthritis model induced by Freunds complete adjuvant.Results: Adrenocortical extract could prevent the ear swelling,the palm swelling and the adjuvant arthritis.In addition,it could slightly lower the weight of spleen and thymus.Conclusion:The extract has the anti inflammation actions similar to prednisone,meantime,it also has the immune inhibitory actions to a certain extent.
