介绍了我国煤层气资源及其开发利用情况 ,认为“西气东输”工程为煤层气开发带来了机遇。分析了我国煤层气的开发优势及面临的挑战 ,提出加速我国煤层气产业发展的7条建议。

This article introduces the coalbed methane resources and its current development status in China. The article holds that the implementation of the project 'western natural gas transmission to the east' brings about very good opportunity for the development of coalbed methane in this country. The article also gives an analysis of the advantages and challenges that the coalbed methane development in this country faces and it also puts forward seven suggestions for quickening the pace of coalbed methane industry development in this country.
