This article gives an introduction to the practice, experiences and benefits obtained from the employment of bolting-mesh support technology in the last cut in the fully mechanized longwall faces with top coal caving. The article also proposes suggestions for the future use of bolting-mesh support technology in the last cut of fully mechanized longwall faces with or without top coal caving.
