摘要
文章在剖析竹林的经济功能、生态功能和社会功能的过程中，认为竹子是三峡库区退耕还林（草）工作中的重要生态经济林，还具体提出了在三峡库区可以发展的优良笋用和观赏经济竹种．
The bamboo forest's three functions, economic, ecological and social functions,are analyzed. And it is considered that bamboo forest is an important economic and ecological forest to retreat from tilth to forest(grass) in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, And fine shoot bamboo species and fine landscape bamboo species,shall be developed in the area.
