摘要
网络生存是指网络在遭受故障仍能维持可接受的业务质量的能力 ,而当代网络的高速度、大容量以及多层次特性决定了其网络生存的地位更加重要 .单层生存因为处理能力的限制而难以满足当代网络的生存要求 ,而多层生存能够根据不同层次的生存需求方便、灵活并实时地组合多个生存实体 ,从而让当代网络实现以最小的开销获取最优的生存性能成为可能 .文章在最后以多层生存应用在光传输网络上的实例来说明它的正确性。
Survivability refers to the ability of a network to maintain an acceptable level of service during a network or equipment failure. The features of modern network such as high speed, large capacity and multiple layers make it more important to realize the survivability. Owing to the limitation of manipulation, single layered survivability can not meet the requirements for modern complicated networks. However, according to the various requirement of survivability in different layers multi layered survivability can combine a variety of survival entity freely and timely so as to acquire the greatest survival capability with the least overbuild. At last an example of multi layered survival scheme applied in optical transport network demonstrates its correctness, practicality and extensibility.
