在数据库系统中,发生故障时数据库能否及时有效地恢复取决于备份的情况。介绍了数据库的备份原理,详细讨论了数据库Oracle的多种备份策略及各自的特点和适用情况,最后给出了数据库备份的两个具体应用实例。
If a production database suddenly become unavailable, a rapid and effective recovery depends on a well-defined backup. This article provides information on the theory of backups, then elaborates several ways of Oracle backup strategies, their distinguishing features and when to take them. At last, two examples of Oracle backup are given.
