在中国这样的多民族国家内研究民俗文化，既要注意少数民族民俗文化的研究，又要注意汉族民俗文化的研究；既要注意民俗志的研究，又要注意民俗史的研究。研究中国风俗史既要注意民族性，又要注意历史性。

In China where exist a variety of nationalities,the research on folk culture must focus on the folk culture of minority nationalities and the Han nationality,records and history of folk customs.The national and historical features must be paid more attention in the research on the history of Chinese customs.
