从词源学、哲学、社会理论、社会学、现代化理论等五个方面对“现代性”概念进行语用清理 ,以及从整体性和时间观上反思这个概念 ,可见其内涵实在太繁杂 ,太宽泛了。“现代性”和“现代化”这两个概念有区别 ,前者内含要大大超过后者 ,而两者部分外延又相互重叠。中国在推进现代化进程的同时 。
This paper clarifies the meaning of the concept 'modernity' pragmatically from five aspects such as etymology, philosophy, social theory, sociology and modernization theory. Meanwhile, it reflects upon the concept in its entirety and time. The last part of the paper discusses the differences between 'modernity' and 'modernization'.
