A Survey of Intelligence Development of Preschool Children in Nanchang Prefecture

报告对南昌地区432名4～6岁学龄前城乡集体儿童的智能调查,分析了小儿智能发育的特点。发现:小儿智能发育与父母文化程度、职业和小儿的体格发育均明显相关;城市与农村的小儿智能发育有显著的区域差异。提示:改善和提高小儿智能发育的环境条件和教学质量,是提高儿童智力水平的关键。

A survey of itelligence of four hundred and thirty two preschool childen aged from 4 to 6 years both in the city and countryside of Nanchang Prefecture in Jiangxi Province was made according to wechsler scales and the characteristics of the children's intelligence development was analyzed.It was obviously related to their physical growth and the cultural levels and occupational conditions of their parents.There was significant difference in intelligence development between the urban and rural chil- dren.It is suggested that improving and promoting the environmintal conditions and educational quality are the key for raising the level of child's intelligence.
