Modem poetry is not the poems written in modem times but the poems showing modernity. In aspects of, poetic ideals, poetic arts and poet character, modem poetry shows differences from classical and traditional poetry. The evolution of Chinese modem poetry introduces a new poetics to China and contributes to chinese poetry development.
