儒学、经典与圣人之道──论北宋学者对儒、经、道关系的定位

北宋学者出于维护儒学权威、重新阐扬儒学价值的目的，对儒学进行了重新定位，对经、道关系提出了新的理解。他们的反思建立在"尊儒、宗经、崇道"的基础上，对汉代学者的儒学观提出批评。他们认为，经典之中蕴藏了"圣人之道"，要把握圣道，自然离不开经典，但仅仅通经，是难以真正理解圣人之道的真谛的。因此，必须超越汉儒的方法，善知经者不求之于意言之间，而应求之于意言之外。这就决定了宋代经学的义理取向。

For the objects of maintaining the authority and explaining the new values of Confucianism, scholars in Northern Song Dynasty had given a new position to Confucianism. They had put forward new understanding in the relationship between the classics and the doctrines. Their rethinking had been based on the faith of classics and doctrines of Confucianism. They also criticized the views about Confucianism of Han scholars. They believed that the doctrines of Confucius were just inside the classics. But, if we want to understand it, we must exceed the methods used by Han scholars. Those views determined the orientation of studying Confucian classics in Song Dynasty.
