Some Improvements of Two-Roll Type Aluminum Strip Stock Continuous Casters

本文介绍了双辊式铝带坯铸轧机的五项新技术:高精度液位控制、电磁铸轧、在线同板差调整、产量最大化、在线铣边。这些新技术如能在国内众多的双辊式铸轧生产线上推广应用,必将大大提高我国铸轧铝带坯的几何精度、产品质量及生产效率。

This paper presents 5 new technologies used for the two-roll type aluminum strip stock continuous casters:high accuracy melt level control;electromagnetic casting;in-line adjustment of gauge differences between two strip edges;output maximizing;in-line edge milling.If the above new technologies could be utilized in the numerous two-roll continuous casters of China,the geometry accuracy, product quality and production efficiency of the cast aluminum strip stock would be surely enhanced a lot.
