To introduce the production processes and usual structure of steel wire ring.The effects of the changes of steel wire ring geometry shape in the production and in the use of tyre on the properties of tyre and automobile are discussed.The steel wire ring with shaped wire has such advantages as light weight,reducing rolling friction force,little space occupied,benefiting optimum tyre structure and raising quality of tyre,which should be the development direction in the future.
