Regional Sustainable Development and Soil and Water Conservation in Xinjiang Wei Autonomous Region

新疆维吾尔自治区作为我国最大及地理位置重要的西北边陲省份 ,随着人口的增长和区域开发进程的进一步加快 ,水土流失问题日趋严重 ,水土保持和可持续发展已成为其生态环境建设的重要课题。分析了新疆水土流失的现状、特点和成因以及存在的问题 。

Xinjiang Wei Autonomous Region is the biggest and more important province located in northwest borderland of China. With population increasing and acceleration improving of regional exploitation, soil and water loss being serious day after day. Soil and water conservation and sustainable development had become important subjects of eco environmental construction. The current situation, characteristics, original factors and problems of soil and water loss are analyzed, and some suggestions on soil and water conservation in Xinjiang region are presented from the view of sustainable development.
