In DENG Xiao-ping's theory, justice and fairness are very much emphasized. DENG considered social justice as an important part of the nature of socialism, and mutual richness as the value objective people pursue. His ideas of justice and fairness can be regarded as the inheritance and development of Marxism, which also suit China's situations in the primary period of socialism. These ideas show the unification of historic principle and moral principle, the consolidation of system justice and principle justice, and the combination of utility principle and justice principle. It is the ideas of justice that can really promote the development of productive force and the free and overall development of human beings.
