The early period of new China was an important turning period in the history of Henan educational development,during which Henan's education,adapting itself to the needs of economic and social development,began to get proportional development as planned,to reform in the fields of educational principles, contents,and methods in the process of establishing people's educational system,to carry out the party's intellectual policies,to expand the number of teachers and to raise the educational quality.
