代表先进社会生产力的发展要求是当代中国共产党的先进性的客观根据和本质体现，是社会主义本质和社会主义事业发展的要求，也是我们党一以贯之的理论与实践。在新的历史条件下，党要更好地代表中国先进社会生产力的发展要求，必须坚持以经济建设为中心，集中力量发展生产力；坚持改革开放；大力实施科教兴国战略；正确处理改革、发展、稳定的关系；全心全意依靠工人阶级和广大人民群众；努力提高党组织和领导发展先进社会生产力的水平。

Representing the development trend and requirements of our country's advanced productive forces is the fundamental manifestation of the Communist Party of the times,the intrinsic quality and the requirements of socialist cause as well as the consistent theory and practice.Under the new historical conditions,the Party should focus on economy and the development of social productive forces,on the policies of reform and openingup,on the strategy for revitalizing the nation through science and education,on the relationship between stability,reform and development,and represent the requirements of development of China's advanced productive forces even better relying firmly on the wisdom and strength of the working class and other people.
