新中国三代领导人对非公有制经济在社会主义经济建设中的地位和作用的认识经历了一个艰难的探索过程。第二代领导人，特别是第三代领导人继承和发展了前人的正确思想，从经济和政治上给非公有制以正确的定位。理论上的创新必然带来实践上的创新，多种所有制经济的共同发展，必然带来社会主义初级阶段经济的繁荣。

It is an assiduous examination of the three generations Party leadership on the economic status and its fuctions in the construction of socialism in New China.The leaders of the second generation or rather the third generation,carry on and develop predecessors' correctness and put the nonpublic sector of the economy in a proper place both economically and politically.Inevitably,the renovation of theory may lead to an innovation in practice, and the joint economic development of different types of ownership will surely bring about a thriving economy in the primary and initial stage of socialism.
