太平天国的拜上帝教是基督教传入中国后的产物 ,它的教义来源于基督教 ,但它的教义、宗教内容和宗教活动方面与基督教有很大差异。它实际上是西方基督教同中国传统文化和中国民间宗教相结合的产物 ,并且适应了太平天国斗争的需要。

God-worship in the heavenly kingdom is the product of Christianity in China, its creed comes from Christianity, but it is greatly different from Christianity in religious doctrine, content and activity.
