文学具有审美属性,但在本质上是思想(指广义思想)的艺术。思想是文化的结晶,因而,杰出的作家往往也是具有很高文化修养的思想家,成功的文学作品具有深厚的文化内涵。当前文学的文化内涵淡薄,其原因有市场经济压力的影响,也有作家文化修养的欠缺,这都将对文学创作产生明显的负面影响。

Literature, possessive of aesthetic nature, is the art of ideology at the bottom and ideology is the crystal of culture . Outstanding writers usually are thinkers who are culturally accomplished. Successful literary works possess profound cultural implications. The poorness of cultural implications at present is due to the pressure of market economy and authors' lack of cultural accomplishment, which surely exert a negative influence upon the literary creation.
