The Japanese religions started to spread in China during the time of Japan-Russia War and since then the Japanese religions became one of the main parts in Japanese invasion activities to China for about 50 years. Japanese religious spread to the Northeast of China accompanied with the Japanese military invasion included Tao, Buddhism, Christianity, Catholics, etc. Japanese religions could not assimilate with Chinese culture since they were with distinctive invasion character, they hurt Chinese people's religious feeling deeply by forcing people to change their own traditional religious beliefs. With the defeat of Japan and the end of World War Two, Japanese religions disappeared in the northeast of China completely. To understand the invasion nature of Japanese religions in the period of Japanese occupation is helpful for us to have better understanding of the colonial culture of Northeast China in Japanese occupied period and to further reveal the invasion nature of Japanese imperialism.
