高等教育必须成为人才培养、科学研究、社会服务和高新技术的集散地与先进思想的发源地,才能满足“三个代表”思想的根本要求。中国高等教育为此须进行观念创新:树立终身学习、科学思维、科学工作方法、科学精神等科学观念;树立正确政治方向与科学人文精神、通才教育与专业教育、校园文化传递与创新、全面发展与个性发展相互统一的现代教育理念;树立依法治教和以德治教的观念,树立高等教育大众化、国际化、网络化的观念。

To fulfill the requirements of the'Three Represent ' s',it is imperative to make innovation s in China' s higher education concepts.Therefore,we must implant in mind the following con cepts:the scientific concepts of li felong study,sci-entific thinking,scientific work methods and scientific spirit;the mo dern education concepts of the integ ration of correct po-litical orientation and scientific and cultural qualities,generalist education and speciality education,campus culture trans-mission and innovation,and all -rou nd development and individuality;t he concepts of conducting education by law and by virtue;the concepts of the popularization,internationalization and c ybernation of higher education.
