Taking Jiangsu province as an example, in this paper authors study the impacts and effects of industrial structure adjustment on economic growth by separating them from the total factor productivity. The reasons and approaches of such impacts were also analyzed in terms of output str-ucture and input structure. The results show that over the past 20 years, the industrial structure has been significantly improved and the structure adjustment has promoted the economic growth strongly in Jiangsu province.
