Soil Erosion and Its Remedies in Hong Kong

水土流失是华南地区严重的环境问题 ,但在香港 ,水土流失却一直未引能起社会的广泛注意。本文首先对香港的地理环境中的侵蚀率和可侵蚀性作简单介绍 ,并由此角度就不同方式的土地利用作出阐释。

The problem of soil erosion is serious in south China, its significance however is not fully recognized by the public as well as the decision makers in Hong Kong. A brief introduction to the physical environment of Hong Kong is given, and then patterns and characteristics of soil erosion in various land uses are detailed in order to portray a comprehensive picture of soil erosion in Hong Kong.
