Primary Report on Wool Quality of French Rex Rabbit

对 3个世代的 3月龄和 6月龄法系獭兔 (每组 6只，共 36只，公母各半 )不同体表部位的被毛进行活体采样，分别测定绒毛与粗毛的密度、长度和细度，并计算粗毛率。结果表明：各世代的绒毛密度， 6月龄高于 3月龄（ P0.05）。

The samples wool in different parts of the body surface from 36(♀ 18, ♂ 18) French rex rabbits of 3－ month－ old and 6－ month－ old in 3 generations were taken from live bodies and the coarse wool rate was calculated. The results indicated that the fine wool density of 6－ month－ old in a generation was more than that of 3－ month－ old (P<0.01) and that of male was a little more than the female at 3－ month, on the contrary at 6－ month. That of the part in the shoulder was similar to the back and the rump was the most. Getting finer and finer from shoulder to rump, the fineness of male at the age of months was smaller than that of female. The fine wool length was more than the coarse at the age of months in 3 generations. Variation of coarse characters was more. Every index varied with generations by selection and the majority was no significance.
