Sildenafil was synthesized from 1 methyl 3 n propylpyrazole 5 carboxylic acid via seven reactions of nitration,amidation,reduction,2 ethoxybenzoyl chloride acylation,oxidative cyclization,chlorosulfonation,N methylpiperazine condensation.
