探讨了专业英语教学在本科教学方面的重要性以及专业英语与基础英语、专业课程之间的关系 ,详细论述了专业英语要侧重英语阅读、翻译和写作的教学特点 ,同时对专业英语的词汇记忆。

The role of ESP (English for special purpose) in undergraduate teaching and the relation between ESP and fundamental English,specialty subjects were introduced in this paper.Meanwhile,the teaching characteristic of ESP of emphasis on English reading,translation and writing teaching is deeply discussed.And some teaching methods such as word memory by classification,understanding complicated sentences and so on are also included.
