Determination of Loss on Ignition by Gravimetry after Microwave Heating

采用微波加热灼烧重量法测定白云石、石灰石、粘土及高纯镁砂的烧失量 ,升温时间1 0～ 1 5min ,保温时间 1 5min ,较常用马弗炉灼烧省时节电。方法经部级标样分析验证 ,结果与标准值相符 ,5次测定的RSD≤ 0 .1 3 %。

Determination of loss on ignition in dolomite, limestone, clay and high purity magnetite grit by gravimetry after microwave heating is reported in this paper. The optimized operating parameters are 10～15 min for temperature rising time and 15 min for holding time with advantages of time saving and less electricity consuming compared with muffle furnace method. The method has been applied to the determination of loss on ignition in standard samples and the results are in agreement with certified values with precision of ≤0.13% RSD ( n =5).
