摘要
With a comparative analysis of operational transaction and analytical transaction,this paper explains the necessity of the development from database to data warehouse.An architecture of data warehouse,which is characterized by high performance and high expansibility,is discussed.A new data warehouse system,which is based on Web technology,is introduced.Its characteristics and security problems are discussed,too.
