扫描电镜观察结果表明,鸡侧脑室的室管膜有构造分区,在侧脑室顶壁布满密集、细长并交织成网状的纤毛,其内侧壁纤毛较稀疏,主要呈簇样分布,室管膜细胞表面显露,有长短不一的微绒毛,底壁纤毛非常稀疏,直径及长度与顶壁的相似,但纤毛呈簇样分布,各簇纤毛之间存在无纤毛区,整个底壁室管膜细胞表面也分布有微绒毛.鸡侧脑室室管膜细胞可分为多纤毛细胞.少纤毛细胞和无纤毛细胞3种.同时还观察到,鸡侧脑室壁存在3种类型的室管膜上细胞,即神经元样细胞、神经胶质样细胞和类组织细胞.本文对上述各种细胞的功能进行了探讨.

There is regional variation in structure in the lateral ventricle of the chicken. The roof of lateral ventricle is characterized by dense, long and fine cilia which cross-linked as network. The cilia in the median wall are sparse and distributed in tufts. And microvilli with varying length have been observed in the exposed surfaces of ependymal cells. In the bottom the cilia whose diameter and length are same as those of the roof arevery sparse, distributed in tufts. Between the tufts, nonciliated areas are discerned The microvilli also existed on the surfaces of all ependymal cells. The ependymal cells in the lateral ventricle of chickens could be classified into three types , that is rich-ciliated cells, poor-ciliated cells and nonciliated cells. And three kinds of supraependymal cells including neuron-like cells, neuroglia-like cells and histocyte-like cells have been found The function of the structure mentioned above has also been discussed.
