摘要
计算的形象化是人机界面的根本性进展。形象化方法通过使计算过程成为“可见”,使用户有机会把握计算进程,发现新的研究对象,以及更深地理解计算。本文介绍了计算形象化的基本概念,并就如何构造一个形象化的计算机系统,讨论了几个重要方面。
Visualization in Scientific Computing is a symbol of radical improvement in man-machine interface. By showing computing processes, computer systems installed with visualizing methods provide their users with opportunities to be conscious of the chronological sequences of computation, to find new research topics, and to grasp the computation thoroughly. This paper introduces the basic concepts of Visualization in Scientific Computing. Some important aspects regarding such computer systems are also discussed.
