The paper introduces the instances of first-run dam safety routine check-up in Jinshuitan and Shitang water power stations, and recounts and discusses briefly the security management of the dam monitoring, the hydraulic structure maintenance, the flood discharging gate operation and the flood control. Some management experiences can be referenced for design.
