胸锁乳突肌下端切除术治疗肌性斜颈的疗效

The results of a distal open release of the sternocleidomastoid muscle in the treatment of muscular torticollis:A follow up study

目的评价胸锁乳突肌下端切除术治疗肌性斜颈(musculartorticollis,MT)的疗效。方法1992年以来应用胸锁乳突肌下端切断术治疗MT126例,经6个月～8年随访60例。年龄2～17例,平均8.5岁。从功能和美容两方面进行了术前和术后评估。结果优良率达90%,其中2～7岁组优良率达100%。结论胸锁乳突肌下端切断术治疗MT仍是简单、方便、并发症少、疗效高的传统方法。

Objective To evaluate the results of a distal open release of the sternocleidomastoid muscle in the treatment of muscular torticollis.Method One hundred and twenty six muscular torticollis patients were treated with a distal open release of the sternocleidomastoid muscle since 1992 in our department.Sixty patients were followed up six months to eight years with the age between two and seventeen years(average 8.5).Preoperative and postoperative evaluation was performed according to both the function and cosmetic aspects.Result The results were satisfactory with fine rate of ninty percent,while one hundred percent in the age group of two to seven years old.Conclusion It was thought that a distal open release of the sternocleidomastoid muscle was still simple and resinable in the treatment of muscular torticollis with few complications.Early operation should be performed to the elder patients.But the normal morphology of the neck can not be restored with the loss of muscular collumn.
