The polyurethane anionomers were prepared by polyaddition reaction of 4,4'-methylenebis phenylisocyanate (MDI) with polypropyleneglycol (PPG),dimethnololpropionic acid (DMPA),and 1,4-butanediol (BDO),followed by neutralization of pendant -COOH groups by triethylamine(TEA). Stable dispersions are obtained for polyurethane anionomers containing -COOH groups 0.8%-1.1%.
